The Illinois Grazing Lands Coalition’s Northern Grazing School will be held at the Greg Thoren Farm. Greg is the 2026 recipient of the Leopold Conservation Award for Illinois.

The day features all you need to get started in operating a profitable grazing operation and bring it to the next level. We’ll have both in-field instruction and machine shed instruction!

Registration is due September 13 and is required to attend. A registration fee of $25 per attendee covers the cost of instruction, handouts, lunch, and refreshments.
